End of Term Reflection
As we wrap up another busy and rewarding term, it’s a wonderful time to pause and reflect on all we’ve achieved together as a school community.
This term has been full of memorable moments – from our respectful ANZAC Day ceremony to the energy of our Fun Runs and Sports Days. Students have ventured out on exciting excursions like the Australia Zoo trip, participated in EcoMarine days, and taken the stage in dance competitions. We’ve shared early morning smiles at Breakfast Club, come together at our election BBQs, and proudly captured school memories on photo day. The spirit of teamwork and sportsmanship has shone through at Osprey Cups and across all school events.
Alongside all these activities, classrooms have continued to buzz with rich, engaging learning a testament to the dedication of our students, staff, and families.
We wish everyone a safe and restful holiday break. Thank you for your ongoing support – we look forward to welcoming you back next term, ready to make more learning memories together!
Please enjoy the photo gallery below of our spectacular U8s Day.

Under 8s Day 2025

From the Leadership Team

This week we received a donation of $250 from Capalaba Sports Club to go towards our new project to upgrade a dedicated play area for their Year 3 and 4 students. This area will allow students to participate in meaningful outdoor play and opportunities to explore, create and build.

Sports
Days of Team Spirit and Fun!
What an incredible three days of sports we’ve had!
From the first race to the final relay, our students showed what true team spirit is all about — cheering each other on, having a go, and celebrating every effort, big or small.
Whether it was sprinting down the track, giving it a go in the tug-of-war, or joining in a game for the very first time, we couldn’t be prouder of the way everyone joined in with enthusiasm and energy. There was fun, laughter, encouragement and plenty of high fives!
It wasn’t just about winning — it was about trying, supporting each other, and being part of something together. Thanks to all the staff and families who helped make it such a positive and joyful experience.

From the Classrooms
Last Friday, the school’s beginner Band students joined with students from three other schools to take part in the 2025 Beginner Band Workshop Day. Over the day, the students worked to learn three new pieces – it was like having a whole term’s worth of lessons in one day!! At the end of the workshop, their parents were blown away by how much could be achieved in such a short time when they performed all three pieces. Congratulations to the beginner Band students for your focus and engagement throughout the day 🎶

Year 6 Trades Talk – Sparking Curiosity!
A big thank you to the parents, close friends, and our very own Mr O’Keefe who visited our Year 6 students to share their experiences working as electricians!
Our students were buzzing with excitement as they learned about the ins and outs of the trade – from tools and safety to how electricity powers our daily lives. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world skills and inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and hands-on thinkers.
Thank you to all who gave their time and energy to help spark a new interest in our students!

On Wednesday afternoon, our Year 5&6 iNNOVATE students confidently pitched their business ideas to a panel of local business experts. These young entrepreneurs shared their business ideas, budgets, and marketing strategies. They gained valuable insights, feedback, and advice that they will reflect upon as they prepare for their market day in November.
A big thank you to all our amazing panel members for giving up their afternoon to join us today. The students thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to gain real-world perspectives on their entrepreneurial journeys.
The panel consisted of:
